When Elizabeth was younger she hated change, especially the change that occurred when her body began to develop.
On Saturday, Dec. 12, community members set a record at the 3rd Annual A Friend’s House Cookie Walk. “Not only did we have more people attend than previous years, but they also donated more than $2800 and walked away with very delicious cookies,” said Pam Durdahl, Executive Director.
Attendees chose from more than 50 varieties of cookies and candies, including snicker doodle, turtles, cut-out sugar cookies, peanut brittle, date pinwheels and fudge. The cookies sold out before noon, which was when the Cookie Walk was supposed to end.
“It was a fun morning! We are so grateful for the people who supported us by purchasing cookies, and for the many individuals who donated their homemade cookies and candies to us,” said Durdahl.
