While it is important that those going through the Family courts have privacy, this lack of transparency has meant that accountability for harmful decision making has been lacking and survivors trust in the institution has diminished. Women\u2019s Aid welcomes the expansion of the Transparency Project, which will allow anonymised reporting on more cases, helping spread awareness of the issues these courts deal with and potential problems that may arise.<\/p>\n<p>There is still progress to be made to improve the Family Courts accountability, including the development of a transparent complaints process when it comes to poor decision making.
