The expertise and sustainability of the specialist VAWG sector will be vital to delivering this ambition.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The letter outlines joint concerns about the impact of uncertainty on government funding allocations and to urge the Government to provide updates on allocations impacting VAWG services as soon as possible. We are concerned that services commissioned under contracts linked to government funding are about to face a funding cliff-edge, as contracts are due to expire on 31st March 2025. In addition, undervalued contracts are leaving specialist organisations reliant on insecure fundraised income to subsidise operational costs and staff salaries. This insecurity has been exacerbated by a growing trend towards short-term contracts and regular competitive tendering in the local commissioning of domestic abuse services.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>These organisations are calling for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-leveltext=\"\uf0b7\" data-font=\"Symbol\" data-listid=\"1\" data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li data-leveltext=\"\uf0b7\" data-font=\"Symbol\" data-listid=\"1\"
