If you\u2019ve recently assumed office, are in a new role or just keen to develop a better understanding of domestic abuse policy, practice and legislation, we\u2019ve developed an online learning hub to help you deliver your duties. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Women\u2019s Aid want to empower councillors and commissioners with the knowledge and tools to tackle domestic abuse, meet the needs of survivors and protect specialist domestic abuse services.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\n\t\t\t\tReaching out to Women\u2019s Aid Federation of England was critical to delivering a strong and effective local strategy. Their guidance helped ensure that we were consulting with all survivors in the local area, and by helping to sign-post us to a range of organisations, we were able to engage with some of the more marginalised groups. Their national perspective was also invaluable in ensuring that our strategy is equipped to support survivors crossing local authority boundaries, which we know a third of women are forced to do when fleeing domestic abuse.\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
