Bringing you the facts about domestic abuse<\/strong><\/h2>

Women\u2019s Aid is the national federation for domestic abuse services in England. In these pages you will find research and information about domestic abuse, and the impact it has on women and children.<\/p>

The strength of our research lies in its access to\u00a0our flagships datasets<\/a>, covering the experiences of survivors at every stage of their journey, and the services supporting them. Our cutting edge service directory, monitoring and case management tools are used by services beyond our membership, including dedicated providers and housing associations. They build the most complete picture of the sector available.<\/p>

Quality and ethics provide the backbone of our own research and, with our partners, we created the\u00a0Research Integrity Framework<\/a>\u00a0to establish high standards of evidence for domestic abuse.<\/p>

The Women\u2019s Aid research team provides regularly\u00a0published reports<\/a>, custom research for policy and practice teams, and evaluation of new innovations in the field. By collaborating with academics, and working closely to inform public policy at every level, our research aims to put the real-life experiences of survivors at the heart of decision-making.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Women\u2019s Aid updates proposed funding settlement for domestic abuse services<\/strong><\/h2>

As outlined in a previous\u00a0update<\/a>, Women\u2019s Aid have increased our minimum annual funding settlement for specialist domestic abuse services to align with a new estimate for the \u2018by and for\u2019 from the Domestic Abuse Commissioner\u2019s office.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
