Who run the world? Girls!
Women’s Aid is back for the iconic 5k & 10k, hosted by the Women’s Run Series. This inspiring event, exclusive to women runners, is all about championing female strength & solidarity – and you can do it while helping survivors of abuse access the vital support they need to thrive.
Joining #TeamWomensAid
We kindly ask our fundraisers to aim for a minimum £150. In return, you’ll receive:
- Dedicated support: You’ll receive tips, links, and all sorts of awareness-raising resources from a friendly member of the team every step of the way.
- A running vest: Raise your first £20 and receive a technical vest to wear with pride, showing your solidarity with survivors.
- Pink power on race day: Your very own hype squad will be there to cheer you on! We’ll be easy to spot in our hot-pink gear.
Your Impact
- £20 raised could give young people the tools to build healthy, respectful relationships.
- £80 raised could make sure a woman receives our specialist support when refuge space is out of reach.
- £120 raised could keep our online survivor community open for a whole day.
- £500 raised could fund crucial training for professionals, from police to judges, creating lasting change for survivors.
“The amazing team at Women’s Aid made fundraising so easy. They provided support throughout training and on the day. Women’s Aid is a charity that supported my mum, and myself as a child. I have been closely affected by domestic violence and wanted to use my newfound freedom to spread awareness. It’s not something to be ashamed of.” Gemma*, #TeamWomensAid runner
