Residential Center for Women
A Friend’s House is a free long-term transitional housing program offering help for women in need from all over the United States who suffer from severe depression, eating disorders, self-harm, mental abuse, and emotional abuse. At A Friend’s House, we are dedicated to encouraging women to understand the past, live in the present, and prepare for the future in a healthy, positive manner and from a Biblical worldview.
Help for Women in Need
We are a long-term residential center that can house seven women. We welcome women over 18 years of age. We do not accept minors.
Since opening our doors in 2005 in Bluffton, IN, we have provided a safe housing environment to women allowing them to heal. Women in our home gain the support, tools, and life skills they need to reclaim their life and build the foundation for a healthy and happy future.
Transitional Housing Program
Residents are given all of the care, women’s therapy, and training, free-of-charge. We accept no government funds. Our home is supported through gifts from individuals, churches, corporations, and foundations.
